Association of Concert Bands - The purpose of the Association of Concert Bands is to encourage and foster adult concert community, municipal, and civic bands and to promote the performance of the highest quality traditional and contemporary literature for band. The ACB and its members are uniquely dedicated and equipped to serve the needs of adult instrumental musicians performing in and leading community bands. We are members of the ACB.

Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville - Since 1999, the ensemble has enjoyed membership in the Cutural Council of Greater Jacksonville. The Cultural Council works on your behalf to provide a vibrant quality of life in Jacksonville. Through programs such as arts education, advocacy and outreach, grants and funding, and other special projects, the Council constantly seeks stimulating ways to promote the arts. Through innovative partnerships with the City of Jacksonville and numerous community and educational leaders, the Council seeks to enrich and improve lives through cultural growth.

The Don Thompson Chorale has invigorated the Jacksonville musical community since 1994. They have established themselves as an exceptional choral group with audiences that continue to grow in number and enthusiasm. The First Coast Wind Ensemble is privileged to join with them for our Holiday Concert in December at Terry Hall.  Information about their concert season and other activities can be obtained by following the link above.

The Florida Bandmasters Association is the governing organization for school bands in the state of Florida.  Many thousands of musical lives have been shaped under the auspices of their district and state ensembles and festivals.  The F.B.A. has been keeping standards high and providing guidance for over sixty years.
